Dining for a Difference
Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and Derek Bottoms will serve as the Honorary Chairs of the 21st annual Dining for a Difference. Mayor Bottoms and her husband are strong advocates for adoption and foster care, having adopted all of their children from Families First.
As Atlanta's 60th mayor, Mayor Bottoms leads with an agenda focused on equity and affordable housing and serves as Chair of the Community Development and Housing Committee for the United States Conference of Mayors.
A product of the Atlanta Public School System, Mayor Bottoms graduated from Frederick Douglass High School and went on to receive her undergraduate degree from Florida A&M University. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law.
An active member of the community, Mayor Bottoms is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Jack and Jill of America, The Links, Inc., and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She has also served on the board of Families First.

Join us on Thursday, April 25, 2019 for our 21st annual Dining for a Difference, presented by Cox Enterprises and Chick-fil-A Foundation. Since its debut, Dining for a Difference has grown into a premier fundraising and awareness event benefiting Families First and attended by metro Atlanta's most influential community leaders. Over the years, this event has raised more than $6 million, with more than 500 guests set to attend this year!

Since Dining for a Difference debuted in 1999, the event has raised more than $4.5 million, enabling Families First to provide empowering and sustainable solutions through programs and services aimed at setting children and families up for independent and successful futures. Last year, more than 500 guests attended the event, helping us to raise more than $650,000.
