From the Streets to Success

Jairus is a scholar, an athlete, and a leader. He graduated from Tri-Cities High School in May of 2011 with a 3.4 GPA and the highest ACT score in the school's history. Although his future is bright, his past presented many challenges for him. Nevertheless, Jairus persevered and received a full ride to the Air Force Academy. CROP (Cooperatives Raising Organic Produce) will encourage youth living in two of the Families First cooperatives to play an active role in growing their own produce.
