FREE Initial Planning Consultation

  • The Support Services Specialist will assist in planning, communicating and implementing organizational change due to significant organizational changes.
  • Families First will provide a needs assessment and proposal based on the organization's requirements.

 Implementation Planning

  • The Support Services Specialist serves as a consultant, and advises in the development and implementation of the proposal.
  • Families First will provide training sessions to staff members including: Effective Communication, Risk Reduction, Change Management and other issues relevant to implementing a reorganization.

 Onsite Implementation

  • Licensed counselors, trained in issues related to workplace change, are available for individual sessions.
  • Licensed counselors will guide affected employees to other services available to them such as support groups, out-placement services, career coaching, etc.

 Ongoing Support for Outgoing Employees

  •  24/7 Hotline (via phone/online) will be staffed by a Support Services Specialist.
  • Off-site group sessions enable affected employees to process feelings and assist in developing future plans.
  • Off-site educational sessions for employees include: stress management/coping strategies/family communication, financial counseling and other issues impacting the outgoing population.
  • Off-site family support groups will assist employees and family members in processing change in status/lifestyle, mitigating impact on family/support systems, and offers direction toward sustainability.
  • Out-placement services assist the employee in effectively preparing for the job market. Services include resume building, interviewing skills development and participation in networking groups.
  • Individual career coaching provides the employee with advice, skill enhancement, and insight enhancement specific to career goals and objectives.

 Ongoing Support for Continuing Employees

  •  24/7 Hotline (via phone/online) will be staffed by a Support Services Specialist.
  • On-site group sessions will provide employees an opportunity to process their feelings about the changes they are experiencing, and enable them to more effectively integrate into the reorganized environment
  • On-site educational sessions on survivors guilt, change management, stress reduction, team building are available. These sessions are designed to assist employees in effectively transitioning into a reorganized workplace and build new relationships, teams and systems.
  • Ongoing management consultation includes designated briefings/meetings, scheduled training sessions, and individual meetings on specific issues via telephone/online.
  • Conflict resolution, Mediation and Crisis Response services will be available as needed.
