How The Referral Process Works

The employee or family member contacts the Families First call center to schedule an appointment with a counselor in their area.

They can call (404) 853-2846 or (800) 854-2801 to access:

Counseling
Work Life Referrals Including Childcare/Eldercare/Petcare Referrals
Legal Assistance
Financial Counseling

The employee or family member will provide some demographic information during this initial telephone conversation and then receive a referral to an Employee Assistance counselor or to the appropriate resource.

All Families First counselors have at least a Master's Degree and are licensed to practice in the state where the EAP services occur.
