04.15.11 The General Assembly adjourned near midnight on April 14th after flurry of legislation made it under the wire. Governor Deal now has 40 days to sign or veto bills or to allow them to become law without a signature. 04.01.11 The struggle over tax reform has led to a change in the General Assembly’s schedule. Lawmakers adjourned Thursday and put off Day 38 until Monday, April 11th.
