Administrative Assistant (Part Time)

Qualifications:

  • Business School or Bachelors Degree
  • 2-5 years of Administrative or secretarial experience
  • Type minimum of 40wpm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and spreadsheets
  • Available to work 16-18 hours per week

Position Responsibilities:

This position is primarily accountable for providing assistance to staff in the Foster Care and Transitional Living Services Programs.  Primary responsibilities will pertain to managing client case files for compliance and seeing that the CQI needs of the Foster Care and Transitional Living Services are met.  This position works closely with and provides support services to the staff (full time, part-time and contractual) of both programs.

Provide support to the Program Manager and Staff in all areas relating to the compliance with program/contractual requirements.

  • Set up case records within 5 days of a new child entering Foster Care or TLP programs
  • Assist with reviewing case files for compliance on a weekly basis
  • Collect and compile data in Excel; charting and graphs of data collected
  • Effectively utilizes office technology and able to work in Care Logic and operate office equipment
  • Maintains copies of Policy Manual and set up Orientation packets
  • Provide Status Reports
  • Return calls and email within 24 hours
  • Carry out other duties as assigned based on the needs of the Unit

CQI & Compliance Associate

Qualifications:

  •  Minimum Bachelor's degree. Master's degree or doctoral candidate a plus
  • Desire to learn about CQI, program evaluation, and compliance in a non-profit organization
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Excel.  Knowledge of SPSS preferred
  • Must be very organized and detail-oriented with superb written and oral communication skills
  • Some background and/or strong interest in program evaluation, research, statistics, and/or compliance are preferred

Position Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for assisting the Director of CQI and Practice-Based Research and the Compliance Manager in the areas of continuous quality improvement, program evaluation and compliance.  CQI and program evaluation duties include data collection (both qualitative and quantitative), data entry, data reporting, and evaluation tool development.  Additional duties include gathering data, benchmarking, and conducting research to better inform practice as well as assisting in writing and revising agency policies and procedures.  Compliance duties include conducting internal audits, following up on corrective action plans, and managing and reporting audit results.   

  • Collect data from various data sources (quantitative and qualitative)
  • Monitor data integrity from data sources
  • Ensure that data collected is entered in a timely manner
  • Assist in evaluation tool development and administration of these tools
  • Assist in compiling and writing data and evaluation reports
  • Assist in implementation and monitoring of agency-wide CQI initiatives
  • Assist in the development, revision, and implementation of policies and procedures for the agency
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with COA standards
  • Gains familiarity with DHR Residential Child Care and Child Placing Regulations
  • Develops, initiates, assists Compliance Manager with maintaining, and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities
  • Support departments/service areas in external audit preparations
  • Assist and/or perform random case audits
  • Assist and/or perform internal audits
  • Conduct follow-up audits
  • Track and monitor adherence to corrective action plans
  • Assists in providing input and representation on key compliance initiatives, meetings and committees. Stays abreast of industry and compliance trends; recommends and implements changes to internal company processes as needed
  • Participate in the monthly CQI Committee meetings and quarterly FAMSTAT meetings
  • Conduct research on current trends, benchmarks, statistics, EBP's, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Permanancy Cooperative Liaison

Qualifications:

  • Possess Bachelor degree in Social Work or similar social service oriented curriculum
  • Have prior experience working with troubled teens
  • Provide a minimum of three(3) professional references
  • Successfully pass a seven (7) panel pre-employment drug and health screen
  • Possess a clear seven (7) year driving record

Position Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the day to day care and watchful oversight of teens in our Reunification Facilities and includes but is not limited to:

  • Safety of teens inside and out of the facility
  • Understanding behaviors of this diverse teen population and managing those behaviors
  • Crisis intervention
  • Teaching life skills
  • Ensuring the nutritional needs of the teens are met
  • Maintaining structure in the home
  • Advocating for individual teens and the population as a whole
  • This is a full time overtime eligible position
  • This is a shift work position where the employee will work four (4) days on, three (3) days off, three (3) days on, and four (4) days off
  • The Family Reunification Cooperative Liaisons are required be on premises around the clock for the prescribed shifts
  • Off day housing assistance is available
